Miss Millie is a porcelain line of functional ceramics,
sculptural ornaments and jewelry made by Melissa Crotty in her studio in South
Philly. Born in 2009 Miss Millie has been making her way to different craft
shows, handmade craft galleries and boutiques across the country.
Incasing a plethora of surreal imagery yet having a fun
delicate finish Miss Millie wares are fine balance between function and art.
Each piece is hand built or slip cast porcelain finished with inlayed drawings
and/or vintage decals and bright interior glazes.
Melissa Crotty graduated from Alfred University with a BFA
2005.
Her background in installation and sculpture are prevalent
both in her work and booth displays.
